Marjorie 'Margie' Phillips Nolan

Marjorie “Margie” Phillips Nolan, age 82, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randall William Nolan; and grandson, William Gale Wilson. She is survived by her children, Mike Nolan, Peachtree Corners, GA and Pam and Rusty Wilson, Carnesville, GA; grandchildren, Kristal and Bryan Dobbs, Hilton Head, SC, Brittany and Michael Carothers, Pensacola, FL, Russell “Trey” Wilson and fiancée, Ashli Holt, Mandeville, LA and Joey Nolan Wilson, Carnesville, GA; great grandchildren, Peyton Dobbs, Mason Dobbs and Chandler Holt; and brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Clarice Phillips, Tifton, GA. 

Mrs. Nolan was born February 12, 1936 in Brookfield, GA. She was a 1954 graduate of Tifton High School in Tifton, GA. She was a retired floral designer and had worked for Emory Florist, Shelton Florist, Suwanee Town Florist and retired from Floral Fair. She was a member of the Good Timers in Suwanee, GA. She attended the Church of the Redeemer in Cumming, GA.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA with Rev. Ben Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Carnesville, 45 Oliver Street, Carnesville, GA or a charity of your choice in memory of Marjorie Nolan.
