Frank Warren "Monroe" Cowart

Mr. Frank Warren “Monroe” Cowart age 80 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday May 03, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

          Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday May 06, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 05, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

          Frank was born on October 25, 1937 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Franklin Clyde Cowart and Christine Cowart Rodriguez. He was retired from Cowart Transmission where he was the owner and operator and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Smitty Jo Turner and Stacey Gibbs.

          Mr. Cowart is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Gene Gibbs of Gainesville, sister, Betty Jo Turner of Cleveland, nieces and nephews, Kimberly and Kevin Senter, Teresa and Dean Morris, Heather and Stewart Conley, Catherine and Brad Jordan, Amy and Chris Collins, and Casey and Brandi Gibbs.

          Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
