Hubert Howard Jarrard

          Mr. Hubert Howard Jarrard age 79 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday, May 03, 2018 at his son’s residence following an extended illness.

          Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 07, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Mike Grizzle and Reverend Chris Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 05, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 06, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

          Mr. Jarrard was born on December 02, 1938 in Suches, Georgia to the late Hubert Hoyt Jarrard and Cona Cristell Moose Jarrard. Mr. Jarrard served in the United States Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 219 in Gainesville. He was a retired truck driver from Roger Trucking Company and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sarah Jarrard, brothers and sisters, Betty Burson, Grace Sargent, Harold Jarrard, JC Jarrard, Mae Roberts, and grand-daughter, Victoria Jarrard.

          Howard is survived by his children, Greg and Barbara Jarrard, Randy and Brenda Jarrard, Keith and Darlene Jarrard, Tiffany Smallwood, and Mark and Lisa Jarrard, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Amanda Jarrard, Michael Jarrard, Heather Jarrard, Justin Jarrard, Lauren- Hope Cantrell, Brandi Jarrard, Tristan Smallwood, Katlyn Jarrard, Brittany Strickland, Kyle Jarrard, Victoria Jarrard, Matthew Jarrard, Baylee Jarrard, Christian Jarrard, Jackson Cantrell, Kaylee Jarrard, River Cantrell, Noah Jarrard, Ezra Strickland, Elijah Strickland, Penelope Davis, and Amari Davis.
