Frank O. Fox, 87, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday May 2, 2018 at The Oaks at Hampton following a period of declining health.
Born September 26, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Frank and Anna Fox, he had lived in Dawson County over twenty years having moved from Atlanta. Mr. Fox grew up in New Jersey and was a graduate of Seton Hall University. He retired from Coca Cola following 31 years of service. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, Frank was an accomplished accordion player and enjoyed all sports, especially tennis and golf. He loved living in Dawson County on the lake and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Mary Bob Fox, Dawsonville; children, Frank and Paula Fox, Lebanon, TN, Tom and Gloria Fox, Hazlet, NJ, Tim Fox, Taiwan, Steve and Pam Fox, Douglasville, Karen and Jay Benton, Monroe, Laurie and Andy Prodanovic, River Forest, IL; grandchildren, Michele, Mattie, Lindsey, Reid, Connor, Mary Jo, Jim, Zachary; and great grandchildren, Marie Rose, Everett, Audry and Jackson.
Memorial services will be held Sunday May 6, 2018 at 3 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Stan Lovell will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 3 at the funeral home.
