Helen Fowler Ledford

Mrs. Helen Fowler Ledford age 71 of Toccoa passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late J.D. and Viola Segars Fowler, she was born May 13, 1946 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most her life in Stephens County. She was employed with Lanier Clothes for a number of years and a member of North Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Larry D. Ledford of the home, two daughters Angie Carter of Eastanollee and Sheila Jones of Stafford, Virginia. two step sons Anthony Ledford of Augusta, Ronald and Lisa Ledford of Warms Springs, Georgia, one step daughter Connie and Robert Nasworthy of Augusta, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three sisters and brothers-in-law Laverne Carlan, Evelyn and Tex Murray, Martha and Wade Ivester and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 P.M. at North Trinity Baptist Church with the Reverend Stephen Harris and the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Wade Ivester, Shane Kelley, Tex Murray, William Long, Fred Williams and Aaron Ford.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
