Lola Mae Gaines Sessoms Simpson

Mrs. Lola Mae Gaines Sessoms Simpson, age 93 of Irene Street, Toccoa, GA passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late William and Lillie Gaines, she was born June 30, 1924 in Franklin County, GA but lived most of her life in Stephens County. She retired from Coats & Clark after 30 years of service and was a member of Rock Quarry Holiness Church.   She was twice married, first to Howard Sessoms, and second to Troy Simpson. She was also preceded in death by a son Marshall Sessoms.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Richard Fulbright of Toccoa, son and daughter-in-law Charles and Debra Sessoms of Eastanollee, grandchildren, Richie Fulbright, Rusty and Kim Fulbright, Rocky Fulbright, Missy & Sonny Spearman, Corey Sessoms and Crissy Sessoms, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren, sister Katherine Lamey of Accworth, GA.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jewell Gaines and the Reverend Edward Hood officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 6 until 8 PM

The following will serve as pallbearers: Richie Fulbright, Rusty Fulbright, Rocky Fulbright, Sonny Spearman, Mike Harkins and Will Spearman.

Interment will be in the Martin Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Clarence Reynolds officiating.
