Mary Inell Scott

Mary Inell Scott, 89 of Gainesville passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at her residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Allen and Dollie Cook Miller.  Mrs. Scott owned and operated her own florist for a number of years.

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Scott, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby G. and Kathy Scott, Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Estelle Hendrix, Alto;  8 grandchildren, and a  number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her parents, son, Jimmy Douglas Scott; daughter, Patricia Ann Scott Ransom; brothers, David Miller, Thurman Miller, Hoyt Miller, Silas Reuben Miller; sisters, Ann Howard and Flora Ellen Smith.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Bobby G. Scott will officiate the service.  Interment will follow in the Springway Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday April 29 at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
