Ida Joyce Robinson Dean

Ida Joyce Robinson Dean, age 81, of Gillsville, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Minister Brandon Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 and Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. both days.

Mrs. Dean was born August 20, 1936 in Hall County, Georgia to Joe Dan Robinson and Gladys McKinney Robinson. She was retired from Warren Featherbone and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Dean and her sister, Betty Sue Hembree.

Mrs. Dean is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Cora Dean of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Cathy Dean of Gainesville; son, Robert Dean of Gillsville; daughter, Vonda Edwards of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Jerry Tilson of Lula, GA; brother, Jack Robinson of Dahlonega; brother, Robert Robinson of Gillsville; sister, Louise Whitlow of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
