Ann Garner Walker

Mrs. Ann Garner Walker, age 82 of Gainesville, passed away on April 19, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Chris Swan and Patrick Haynes will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Walker was born on July 13, 1935 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Luther G. Garner and to the late Alma Bertchin Garner. Mrs. Walker, along with her late husband Calvin E. Walker, owned and operated the Little Giant Grocery Store in Chicopee. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Along with her parents and her husband, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her sisters Evelyn Garner Justus and Marelle Garner Whitmire.

She is survived by her special niece and nephew Cathy and Billy Humphries; niece Teresa Justus Lovell; niece Kelly Whitmire Edwards; and a host of family and friends.
