Rev. William Carl Kendrix

Rev. William Carl Kendrix, age 93, of Cumming, GA, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018. Carl was a United States Army veteran, who served in WWII. He was the eldest member at Cross Plains Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Louise Kendrix; parents, Joe and Annie Kendrix; daughter, Kathy Jackson; brothers, Robert and Harold Kendrix; sisters, Betty Lynn and Mildred Chadwick.

He is survived by his children, Carl Ernest (Patsy) Kendrix, Karen Rogers, Klari (Larry) Derthick; sisters, Shirley (Fred) Sanders, and Mary Cordell; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. Ruben Boling and Rev. Sam Rickett officiating. Interment to follow in Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
