Mary Sue Phillips Sterling

Mary Sue Phillips Sterling, 87, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of College Park, GA passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018.  Mrs. Sterling was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles William Sterling; her parents, Robert Mark Phillips and Rachel Meadows Phillips Turner of Monroe, GA; and her brother, Bobbie Joe Phillips of Lafayette, LA.  

She was treasured in life and will be greatly missed by her son, Billy (Barbara) Sterling of Gainesville, GA; her sister, Toni Turner of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Ashley (Tony) Mayabb of Cumming, Kendall (Van) Raymer of Flowery Branch, GA, Arica (Matt) Waldron of Bogart, GA, Aaron Richardson of Gainesville, GA; great grandchildren, Zadok Mayabb and Bennett Waldron; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She loved her Lord, family and her home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Grinstead officiating.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
