Ruby Jean Turner, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Monday April 16, 2018 following a period of declining health.
Born September 2, 1946, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Ruby Jean was a member of New Life Church of God and worked for many years at Burlington Industries in Dahlonega. She enjoyed quilting with her mother and visiting her daughter at the beach. A caring and gentle woman, she loved to laugh and with a sweet smile would do anything for anyone. She is preceded in death by her father, Grady Ingram and brother, Cecil Ingram.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Jeannie Reece and Scott Davis of Orange Beach, Alabama; mother, Irene Collier of Dawsonville; granddaughter, Josie Everett of Gainesville; great-grandsons, Isaiah Everett, Hunter Coates; sister and brother in law, Dianne and Tony Allison of Dawsonville; brother, Clinton Ingram of Dawsonville; special cousin, Joan Pinion Gibbs of Dawsonville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 20, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Owens, Rev. Tony Allison and Rev. Eric Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Dawsonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 19 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
