Claudine Jamison Bell

Mrs. Claudine Jamison Bell, age 74 of 72 Oakway Drive, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Claude Terrell Jamison and Bertie Christine Jamison, she was born August 19, 1943 in Asheville, North Carolina having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She worked in retail for a number of years and later with the Stephens County School System as a Parapro for 6 ½ years. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Earl Rochester Sunday School Class. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bell and by a brother, Jimmy Jamison.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Elaine and Bob Dillashaw of Cornelia and Lynn Smith of Toccoa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Deana Bell and David and Lisa Bell both of Toccoa; grandchildren, Christopher Bell and Marie Segars, Taylor and Kyle London, Brooke and Brad Dooley, Samantha and Michael Holman, Natalie Houston, Zack Smith, Carley Bell and Quentin Mitchell, Hayden Bell, Haylee Bell, Hanna Bell, Houston Bell; great-grandchildren, Christina Bell, Channing Holman, Zayn Dooley and Zayley Mitchell; brother, Tommy Jamison of Toccoa; sister, Betty Parker of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 19, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend John Thomas officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Christopher Bell, Zack Smith, Hayden Bell, Kyle London, Brad Dooley, Quentin Mitchell and Michael Holman. Houston Bell and Zayn Dooley will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until time to leave for the service. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Claudine Jamison Bell.
