Joe Pat Rumsey

Mr. Joe Pat Rumsey, age 84, of Rumsey Row, Toccoa, GA, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at his residence.

A son of the late William S. and Ida Moore Rumsey, he was born September 20, 1933 in Stephens County where he lived his entire life. He was employed with Vermont American for 17 years and was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Moore Rumsey.

Survivors include his wife Sallie Harris Rumsey of the home, two sons and daughters in law, Timothy E. and Carla Rumsey of Nashville, TN, Patrick and Dawn Rumsey of Duluth, GA, step-daughter and her husband, Tammy and Tony Goza of Toccoa, GA, and a grandson, Taylor Goza.

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Dr. Tim Miller officiating.

The family will be at the home on Rumsey Row Drive, Toccoa, and will receive friends at The Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
