Jeanelle Yearwood Wood

Ms. Jeanelle Yearwood Wood, age 76, of Toccoa passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Stephens County Hospital after suffering a stroke.

A daughter of the late N.L. and Minnie Lou Anderson Yearwood, she was born December 9, 1941 in Stephens County where she resided most of her life. She was a 1960 graduate of Stephens County High School and attended Truett-McConnell College. Ms. Wood retired from Fieldale Farms of Cornelia in 2006 and was a member of Toccoa Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Alan Todd Yearwood.

Ms. Wood is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Sayveo Ratsavong of Clarkesville, Ga., granddaughter and her husband, Brianna and Zach Martin of Clarkesville, Ga., two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Brenda Yearwood of Toccoa and Johnnie and Betty Yearwood of Clarkesville, Ga., a niece, Alisa Yearwood Williams of Flowery Branch, Ga. and also several cousins.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Ms. Jeanelle Wood will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Elrod and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.

The family will be at the home of Ronnie and Brenda Yearwood, South Cedar Fork Road, Toccoa, and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service time.
