Ethelene Wehunt Robinson, 86, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
A gathering to commemorate Mrs. Robinson life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with Chaplain Keith Guyton officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., and all are welcome to stay for the celebration of her life.
Born on May 25, 1931 in Gainesville, Ga., the seventh of ten children of the late Payton Wehunt and Florence Haygood Wehunt. Mrs. Robinson had five children from her first marriage and gained five children from her marriage to George Robinson. She was a homemaker who loved her family, and cooking for her family. She loved being a mother to her “babies” - her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, George T. Robinson; son, Ted Miller; step-sons in-law, Sammy Bryant and Ron Reed; sisters : Thelma; Jeanette; Clara Bell; and Yula May; brothers : Alfred; Smokey; Junior; and Cliff.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her sister, Mary Jean Reese (Ford) of Gainesville; son, Tony Miller (Donna) of Waleska; son, Brad Miller of Gainesville; daughter, Janis Reed (Frank) of Gainesville; son, Ralph Miller (Lisa) of Murrayville; step children; Carol Bryant of Cumming; Ronnie Robinson (Nancy) of Gainesville; Ann Reed of Oakwood; Pat Abercrombie (Johnny) of Murrayville; Terry Robinson (Pam) of Gainesville; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice, Cartersville Office, for the many months of loving care, especially Cassi and Shakira.
