John Mansfield Haff

John Mansfield Haff, 65 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville following a brief illness. 

Born in Meriden, Ct., John had lived in Hall County for most of his life.  He was the son of the late William "Bill" Haff and Shirley Delong.   A graduate of South Hall High School, John worked for a number of years at Green's Grocery before going to work at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in 1988 as a funeral associate.  He was a member of Dunagan Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Haff; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Carrie Haff; Shane and Amy Haff;  daughter and son-in-law, Amber Kent Hawkins and John;  sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Ronnie Pressley; brothers, Richard Haff, Dennis Haff and Tony DeLong;  grandchildren, Blakely Haff Tipton and husband Alec , Bailey Haff, Carlee Haff, Declan Hawkins and Scarlett Hawkins.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday April 14, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Franklin Grant and Rev. Jason Buffington will officiate.  Interment will  follow in the Gillsville Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday April 13 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
