Willene Morris Haney

Willene Morris Haney, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, John Henry Haney; parents, Lee and Ava Bell West Morris; brothers, Jim Morris, and Wayne Morris. She is survived by her children, Cathy and Ricky Gravitt, Flowery Branch, GA, Vicky and Ricky Reeves, Oakwood, GA, Norma Hudson, Jasper, GA, Michael Haney, Buford, GA, Joyce and Charles Passamore, Commerce, GA, and Dean Haney, Buford, GA; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jesse and Sara Hamilton Haney, Buford, GA; sisters-in-law, Ima Haney Clark, Buford, GA, Marie Haney Berry, Buford, GA, Sue Plunkett Haney, Buford, GA, and Lida Couch Haney, Flowery Branch, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Haney was born April 2, 1935. She was a 1953 graduate of Flowery Branch High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ashworth and Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow with a graveside service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with Rev. John Haney officiating.

The family will receive on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
