Barbara Kathleen Nation

Funeral services for Barbara Kathleen Nation, age 56 of Lula will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow the service in the Free Family Cemetery, Gillsville, Georgia.

Mrs. Nation passed away March 29, 2018.

Born on April 6, 1961 in Calhoun, Georgia, Mrs. Nation was the daughter of the late William George Nation and Lois Irene Standridge Nation.  Mrs. Nation was a beautician at Fantastic Sam’s.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nation is preceded in death by sisters Debra Nation and Betty Carnes and brother Farrell Nation.

Survivors include daughter Christy Deresia Hedden of Gillsville, brothers George Nation and David Nation, sister Christine Free, and four grandchildren Amber, Mackenzie, Dylan and Danielle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
