Dr. Doyal David Rittenhouse

Dr. Doyal David Rittenhouse, age 76 of Kennesaw, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Kennestone Hospital due to an extended illness.   

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Minister Lynn Eynon officiating. Interment will be held in Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2915 North Cobb Parkway NW, Kennesaw, GA. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Dr. Rittenhouse was born June 1, 1941 in Rome, Georgia to the late Fred Willard Rittenhouse and the late Mildred Hicks Rittenhouse. He was a retired barber and loved gospel music, where he sang bass with the Sunny South Quartet.

Dr. Rittenhouse is survived by his wife, Linda Rittenhouse of Kennesaw; son, David Rittenhouse of Savannah; daughter, Christina Rittenhouse of Johns Creek; step-daughter, Lori Wood of Kennesaw; step-daughter, Lisa Sanders of Cumming; grandchildren, Dustin Patterson, John Tyler Wood, Violet, David and Michael Rittenhouse; sister, Linda Henry; brother, Walter Rittenhouse.
