Sylvia “Annette” Manning, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday March 27, 2018 following an extended illness.
Mrs. Manning was born May 20, 1946 in Griffin, Georgia and had been a resident of Dawsonville for over 25 years. She retired from Bellsouth Telecommunications on December 18, 1994 after 30 years of loyal service. Annette will be remembered for her complete dedication to her husband, children, grandchildren, family and many friends. Mrs. Manning was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Mary “Mimi” Vaughan and son, Jeffrey Scott Manning.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Frank Manning of Dawsonville; daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Jon Spangler of Braselton; daughter in law, Debbie Manning of Worton, MD; grandchildren, Keith French, Ryan Manning, Jack Manning, Kristin French and Jensen Brock, Katie French, Skylar Spangler; sisters and brothers in law, Victoria and Steve Brumbelow of Dawsonville, Susan and Joe Chadwick of Snellville; other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Harold Evans will officiate. Interment will follow in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday March 30 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
