Thomas Gerald Goodwin

Thomas Gerald Goodwin, age 82 of Clarkesville, Georgia and formerly of Niceville, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Born in Niceville, Florida on February 03, 1936, he was a son of the late Thomas Edison Goodwin & Ernestine Alford Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin was a self-employed home builder for many years who loved working and quietly helping others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, & building. Most of all, Mr. Goodwin enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Carter Goodwin, grandson, Brent Lee Moore, brothers, David Goodwin & Eddie Earl Goodwin.

Survivors include his children & their spouses, Timothy Gerald & Renee Goodwin of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Thomas Gregory & Lori Goodwin of Freeport, FL; Teresa G. & David Crouch of Turnerville; Tonya & Brad Moore of Demorest; grandchildren, Lisa Robles, Gabe, Cody, & Morgan Goodwin, Megan Wise, Trisha Crouch, Michael Williams, Blake, Brandon, Brett, and Blair Moore, Candace Turner; great-grandchildren, Caden & Grayton Wise, Sydney Crouch & Chloe Moore, Grant & Davis Goodwin, Emrie , Ashe, & Dax Turner, Greyson Moore; sisters, Vera Boaz of Valparaiso, FL; Evelyn Landingham of Cottonton, AL; Diane Hunter of St. Pete, FL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Cornelia Christian Church with David Terrell officiating.
