Lester Meeks

Lester Meeks, ago 81 of Smyrna, passed away on March 24, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on March 28, 2018 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Rev. Ralph Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery.

Mr. Meeks was born on October 13, 1936 in Homer, Georgia to the late Wiley H. Meeks and the late Ella Shore Meeks. He was a native of Banks County but spent most of his life in Smyrna, Georgia.

He is survived by his daughter Theresa Shaffer of Denver, Colorado; sister and brother-in-law Ruby and Rev. Ralph Smith of Gainesville; sister Myrtle Standridge of Cornelia; sister Lillian Craven of Homer.
