Marsha Marie Godwin

Marsha Marie Godwin passed away on March 25^th, 2018, on her 74^th birthday, after a courageous fight against Alzheimer’s. Marsha was born on March 25^th, 1944 in Chicago, IL.  She was loved by all who knew her, and she loved everyone she knew.  Marsha was a dedicated, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She loved her career as a dental hygienist, and gave of herself tirelessly to Cub Scouting, Red Hat Society, and St. Monica’s Catholic Church. 

Marsha is survived by her husband Tommy Godwin, her children Patrick Godwin (Stephanie), Kevin Godwin (Kim), Stacey Lewis (Matt), seven grandchildren –Emily Godwin, Katie Godwin, Brett Godwin, Conner Godwin, Brady Lewis, Camden Lewis, Devin Lewis, her brother Michael Haney (Gail), and niece Heidi Favet.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund in memory of Marsha Godwin.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at Flanigan Funeral Home at 4400 South Lee Street, Buford GA on Tuesday, March 27^th at 1:00 pm with Cori Osborne officiating.
