Delmar "Leon" Maloch, age 72, of Gainesville went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 24, 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Clermont, Ga. Rev. John Kinsey will officiate. Interment will be in the Dewberry Baptist Church #2 cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 26, 2018, 5-8 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Clermont, Ga.
Leon was born on October 25,1945 in Jackson County. He was a lifelong resident of Hall County. Leon was a loving dad and grandpa who enjoyed spending time with his family and telling them about the 'good ole days'. Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and watching Nascar. Leon was a hardworking man. He retired from Chicopee Manufacturing and Timberidge Condominium Association.
Leon is preceded in death by his mother and father Delmar and Maybell Maloch, brother Dean Maloch, sister Lilian Beasley, and former wife Gloria Maloch. Leon is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Rob and Stephanie Maloch, son Andy Maloch, and daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and Allen Hudson. Grandchildren: Ozzy and his wife Ashley Maloch, Churchstian Maloch, Lucas Maloch, Jamie Hudson, Angelica Hudson, and Cierra Hudson. Greatgrandchildren: Kayson, Isaiah, Jasiah, and Kaiah Maloch. His brother Larry Maloch and sisters Maureen Anderson, Carolyn Smallwood, Janice Haynes and a number of nieces and nephews.
