Bessie Ruth Rider Sullens

Bessie Ruth Rider Sullens, age 88 of Pendergrass, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Gailey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00pm prior to the service time at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Sullens was born September 19, 1929 in Lumpkin County, Georgia to Charles Glenn Rider and Emma Elizabeth Brookshire Rider. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Tabernacle Congregational Holiness Church. Mrs. Sullens was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Lloyd Sullens; her daughters, Martha Harris and Fannie Emmett; son-in-law, Kenneth Harris; sister, Cecile Thompson; brothers, Leon Rider and Sammy Rider.

Mrs. Sullens is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Sullens; grandson, Kenneth Harris; granddaughters, Misty Greene and Jennifer Gravitt; sister, Annie Posten; brothers, Leonard Rider and Robert Rider; 9 great-grandchildren.
