Larry O’Barr

Mr. Larry O’Barr, age 65, of Lovell Road in Toccoa passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the residence.

A son of the late Kenneth and Lucy Roland O’Barr, he was born on July 10, 1952 in Oconee County, South Carolina having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was employed with American Woodmark for a number of years and a member of Martin Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters Megan Fleeman and Lucinda O’Barr of Toccoa and Jennifer Hogan of Rome, Georgia, three sons Jeffery O’Barr of Martin, Patrick O’Barr of Toccoa and Rodney O’Barr-Stinespring of Eastanollee, companion and caretaker Tammy Hill of Toccoa, one brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Kaye O’Barr of Lavonia, two sisters and brothers-in-law Peggy and Jimmy Hunt and Joyce and Bill Marzak both of Loganville, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 24, 2017 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Roddy Turner officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from noon til service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Ted Murray, Jeffery O’Barr, Lucinda O’Barr, Tyler Williams and Rodney O’Barr Stinespring.

Interment will follow in Martin Baptist Church Cemetery.
