Dorothy 'Dotsy' B. Coffey

Dorothy “Dotsy” B. Coffey, 66, of Flowery Branch passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Grady Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504. Interment will follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 11, 1951 in Atlanta, GA she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy Benson Boatwright. She was retired from Sugar Hill School as a para-professional. Mrs. Coffey was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coffey is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby “Boatie” Boatwright.

Mrs.  Coffey is survived by her husband, Roy Owen Coffey, Sr. of Flowery Branch; daughter, Christy Henry of Douglasville; daughter and son in law, Julie Henry Adams (Brian) of Flowery Branch; daughter, Amy Henry of Sugar Hill; grandson, Reid Adams; granddaughters, Ava Adams, Lillyanne Coffey; step-sons, Shane Coffey (Sherry) of Jefferson, Roy Coffey, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Tyler Coffey of Flowery Branch; step daughter, Allie Boyd (Josh) of Winder; brother, Fred Boatwright (Jolene) of Greensboro and a number of other relatives.
