Christal Chastain Picklesimer

Christal Chastain Picklesimer, age 80 of Cumming, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. She was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, where she sang in the Choir, attended the adult Sunday school class and had 30 years of perfect Sunday school attendance.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Christal worked for 32 years with Sweet-Orr Sewing Plant and then 14 years with the Forsyth County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lounette Chastain; son-in-law, Will LaLonde; brother, Hugh Chastain; brother-in-law, Edwin Gravitt.

Survivors include her husband, William H. “Bill” Picklesimer of Cumming; daughter, Latrelle LaLonde of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Rafael and Elisa Picklesimer of Cumming; granddaughter, Amanda and Josh Smith of Cumming; great granddaughter, Annabelle Smith of Cumming; sister, Ann Gravitt of Cumming; sister-in-law, Ana Chastain of Marietta; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family would like to thank Agape Hospice and Tammy Patterson, caregiver.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17^th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Biddy, Rev. Jeff Wilkie, Rev. Copeland Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am until hour of the service.
