Manuel Batalha Duarte, age 75 of Buford, GA died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 after an extended illness. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Duarte is survived by his wife, Maria Duarte, Buford; son, Carlos Manuel Duarte and wife Anna, Buford; granddaughter, Isabella Cidalia Duarte. Mr. Duarte was born in Mafra, Portugal and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 17 years. He was a retired service technician with Dellwood Dairy and attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
