Angelo John Panzarella, age 82, of Cumming, GA, formerly of New York and Arizona, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018. Angelo served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1954 to 1956 as a corporal. Angelo and his wife, Helene were high school sweethearts. He had a big heart and loved to cook for family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emileo and Nellie Panzarella; his son Angelo J. Panzarella; and his brother, Joseph Panzarella.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Helene Mernagh; his children, Meri (Tom) Lynch of North Carolina, Robert Panzarella of Arizona, John (Kathy) Panzarella of Kentucky, and Joey Panzarella of Mexico; his stepchildren, Debbie (Crawford) Shirley, Joe (Holly) Romano, and Stacey (Chris) Mitchell; his grandchildren, Regina Lynch of New York, Leora, John and Quentin Panzarella all of Kentucky, Andrew Lynch of North Carolina, Christina, Robert and Lilly Panzarella of Arizona, Jennifer (David) Miller, Nick Romano, Michelle Terry, Chris Romano, Zack Mitchell and Julia Mitchell all of Cumming, his great grandchildren, Austin and Alysa Miller of Cumming.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 17, 2018, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Friday, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
