Pauline Fendley Hopkins

Mrs. Pauline Fendley Hopkins age 94 of 2753 East Tugalo Street, Toccoa passed away Tuesday March 13, 2018 at The Oaks at Scenic View in Baldwin.

She was born on January 7, 1924 in Oconee County, South Carolina having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was the daughter of the late William Wesley and Carrie Littleton Fendley. She was Vice President and office manager of the family owned business Cast Products in Westminster, South Carolina. A member of First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class, she had worked many years in the youth and nursery departments and the XYZ Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Dock Paul Hopkins, a son Dennis Fendley Hopkins and twelve siblings.

Survivors include son and daughters-in-law Jimmy and Sheila Hopkins of Toccoa and Peggy Hopkins of Toccoa, six grandchildren and spouses Jamie and Dwayne Garmon, Lyndsay and Donnie Cook, Katie and Chris Sewell, Beth Hopkins, Allie Crenshaw, Paul Hopkins and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 11 A.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Henry Fields officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Calvin McClain, Jr., Lewis Stewart, Jr., Jesse Holland, Mark Hopkins, Mark Hughes and Gary Alexander.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

The family request that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the First Baptist Church,

Memorial Fund, 475 E. Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577, in memory of Mrs. Pauline Hopkins.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Pauline Fendley Hopkins.
