Betty Jean Bowen Clark, 75 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday March 13, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A native of White County, Ms. Clark had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Ola Mae Jackson Bowen. She was employed at Alliance Dental Lab and attended Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Tyrin Clark, Gainesville; grandchildren, Haley and Lance Clark, Gainesville; sisters, Ernestine Hamman, Peachtree City; Emogene Stover, Cleveland; Ethelene Wilson (Jack), Gainesville; Corene Palmer, Gainesville; Ruth Cooper, Flowery Branch; Debra Moore, Gainesville; Janet Rice, Cleveland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud Bowen (Betty), Clermont; Buster Bowen (Kay), Cleveland. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Ms. Clark is preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Sailors and Jacqueline Bowen.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 15, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Swan will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday March 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
