Debra Olive Buchanan,age 61, of Baldwin, Georgia went to be with The Lord on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
Mrs. Buchanan was born on January 15, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a long standing member of Demorest Baptist Church. Debra was a retired special education teacher with a long career in the Habersham County School System.
Survivors include her husband, David A. Buchanan, of Baldwin; parents, Hal and Irene Olive, of Eatonton; daughters and sons-in-law, Whitney Buchanan Beaton and Jeremy, of Cumming; Carrie Buchanan Sanders and Jamie, of Wilmette, IL; twin sister, Edie Olive Keith, of Eatonton; brothers, Craig Olive, of Lexington, KY; Mark Olive, of Prospect, KY; grandchildren, Harrison Sanders, age 7; Delaney Sanders, age 4; Wells Sanders, age 21 months; and Parker Beaton, age 5.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Dr. Tom Mewborn and Dr. Brian James officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the funeral home.
