Rev. John F. Webber

Reverend John F. Webber, age 91 of Commerce, GA, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
 
He was born June 10, 1926 in San Diego, California to the late Jefferson Rogers and Eula Neese Smith Webber. Mr. Webber was a minister and pastored all over the southeast region. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Crossroads Worship Center Church of God.
 
Rev. Webber was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sula Todd Webber; sisters, Josie Driggers, Paula Williams, Elinor Carpenter, and Gloria Webber; and a brother, Edward Webber.
 
Survivors include his daughter, Valerie Dawn Massey (John) of Commerce, GA; and brothers, Brian Sylvan Webber of Buford, GA, Wayne Webber of Buford, GA, and Quentin Webber of Camden, SC. Reverend Webber is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Michael Beck, Carly Massey, and Nevaeh Lord; and 1 great-grandchild, Hadlee Beck.
 
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 12 at 2pm, at the Crossroads Worship Center Church of God with Rev. Brian Webber, Rev. Damon Davis, and Rev. T. Gary Thompson officiating. He will lie in state in the church from 1:30-2pm prior to the service. Family interment services will be held Tuesday, March 13 at 1pm at Harden’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Lyons, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening, March 11, from 6-8pm.
