Nathan George Ballenger

Nathan George Ballenger, age 53, of Maysville, GA passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
 
He was born November 14, 1964 in Commerce, GA to Jimmy Ballenger and Mary Helen Chambers Ballenger. He was a self-employed construction worker, and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ballenger, and a brother, Bobby Ballenger.
 
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Pauline Ballenger of Maysville, GA; sons, Christopher Ballenger of Maysville, GA and Joshua Ballenger of Homer, GA; daughters, Jessica Ballenger of Murrayville, GA, Bethany Ballenger of Clermont, GA and Naomi Ballenger of Alto, GA; brothers, Slim Ballenger of Commerce, GA and Timothy Ballenger of Commerce, GA; sisters, Nadine Bennett of Maysville, GA and Teresa Cole of Commerce, GA. Mr. Ballenger is also survived by his 12 loving grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11am, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, with Rev. James Dumas officiating. Mr. Ballenger will lie in state at the church from 10:30-11:00am, prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, from 6-8pm.
