Mildred Castleberry Shirley

Mildred Castleberry Shirley, age 85, of Cumming, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Shirley.

Survivors include her children, Gail (James) Major of Cumming, Ronnie Vaughan of Dahlonega, Donnie (Alina) Vaughan of Alpharetta; Tim (Roxanne) Vaughan of Cumming, Dale Shirley of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Lilliam and Allie Archer of NC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett and Betty Castleberry, Marcus and Melba Castleberry all of Alpharetta; aunt, Thelma Lamb of Cumming; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janie and Gerald McGinnis of Alpharetta; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13th at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Sorrells officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
