Marilyn Bennett

Marilyn Bennett, 80, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 surrounded by her family at Hospice Legacy House in Ocala, FL.  They resided in Ocala for several years after retirement.

Born May 16, 1937, in Delta, OH, to the late Martin and Lucille Stites. She was a manager for Belk in Gainesville, GA for many years and later owned and operated Designer One Jeans & Things clothing store, Gainesville Square.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Tony and Gary; her sisters, Evelyn Myers, Fern Mikesell, and Doris Stites; and her brother, Curtis Stites. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 56 years, Bobby Bennett; sons, Tracy Bennett (Betty), Troy Bennett (Rosita), Torey Bennett; daughter, Ann Osborne (Randy); sisters, Grace Colon-Miller (Dale), Ester Lowe (Vern); eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Memorial Park Rd, Gainesville Georgia.  Viewings will be Friday, March 9th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm and again Saturday til 2:00pm.
