James Comer Hall, 78, of Cumming passed away Friday March 2, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness.
Born Dec. 17, 1939 to the late William and Mary Hall he had been a resident of Forsyth County for almost 50 years. Mr. Hall was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He owned and operated numerous businesses throughout his life. In recent years he was dedicated to real estate and property management. A loving husband, father and papa, he worked extremely hard, loved the Lord and cared deeply for everyone he was acquainted with.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Doris Hall, Cumming; daughters and son in law, Lisa and Jeff Perkins, Dawsonville, LeighAnn Strickland, Cumming; special niece and her family, Leslie and Andrew Glover, Caleb and Ellery, Ballground; grandchildren, Eve and Cory Jackson, Emma Perkins, Jewel Strickland, Samuel Strickland; sister, Joyce Bartlett, Warner Robbins; brother in law, Phillip Chumley, Cumming; nieces and nephew, Raina Bartlett, Wendy Brewer, Zane Mullis; a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 5, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Martin, Rev. Dean Pugh and Rev. Dave Holbrook will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday March 4 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
