Camerone June Malloy

Camerone June Malloy, age 77, of Dahlonega passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at her residence following a long battle with cancer.

Born March 9, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama to parents  Richard and June Reese, Camerone graduated from North Miami High School and

attended the University of Florida. She was formerly employed by United Air Lines as a stewardess and supervisor. She more recently was

the owner of Hummingbird Lane in Dahlonega for sixteen years.

In addition to her parents, Camerone was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick G. Malloy. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law; Sandra and George Kanistras, Oviedo, Florida, sister; Lynda Reese, Gainesville, nephews; Chris and Todd Kanistras and their children of Oviedo, Florida, step-daughter; Sharon Wilbur of Atlanta. Her caregiver and dear friend, Pam Wright of Dahlonega also survives.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Dahlonega Funeral Home. She will be entombed privately In the Naples Memorial Gardens mausoleum, Naples, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dahlonega Humane
