James Paul Beck, age 79 of Hoschton, passed away on February 22, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Prater officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Beck was born March 25, 1938 in Cumming, Georgia to Gene Beck and Era Mae McCune Beck. He was retired from Design Tech where he was a custom cabinet builder. He loved playing music, especially his mandolin. Mr. Beck was of the Pentecostal Faith and was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Lincoln Beck, J.W. Heath and N.G. Beck.
Mr. Beck is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Annette S. Beck of Hoschton; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Paul and Margie Beck of Zephyr Hills, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Cannon of Carnesville; daughter, Tammie Beck of Carnesville; son, Bobby Beck of Hoschton; granddaughter, Jammie Thomas of McDonough; grandson, Jimmy Paul Beck, Jr. of Newnan; grandson, Christopher Thompson of Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Anna Thompson of Carnesville; granddaughter, Carrie Beck of Toccoa; grandson, Tyler Beck of Jefferson; granddaughter, Rachel Walsh of Carnesville; 10 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Genie Mae and Bobby Prater of Mabelton; numerous nieces and nephews.
