Margaret Brown Morgan

Margaret Brown Morgan, age 91, of Plant City, FL, formerly of Cumming, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

She was a member of North Dunedin Baptist Church in Dunedin, FL. She served in the Army Reserves as a Sergeant 1st Class and volunteered as a nurse with the Red Cross. She worked as a customer service representative with The Atlanta Gas Light Company and later with Georgia Power retiring in 1987 with 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Vera Brown; husband, Flem Morgan; sister, Barbara Densmore; brother, Howard Brown.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Roger Gaines of FL; grandson, Christopher (Kristi) Gaines of PA; granddaughter, Susan (Jayme) Lefort of TX; grandson, Charles (Emily) Gaines of IN; great-grandchildren, Andy and Hailey Gaines, Jacob, Madison and Taylor Lefort, Kaia and Mia Gaines; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Gene McGinnis of Cumming, Helen and Leroy Thornburg of KS; sister-in-law, Helen Brown of Lawrenceville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Gaines officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 12:00 noon until hour of the service.
