John William Turner

John William Turner age 83 of Commerce passed away Friday Feb. 23, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Turner was born Sept. 21, 1934 in Commerce to the late Henry & Eva Evans Turner. He was a machine operator with ABB and served his Country in the United States Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include, daughter, Shelby Jordan of Commerce, son, Phillip Turner of Gainesville, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held 4P.M. Sunday Feb. 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. David Harbin officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Jackson County DFCS care of Foster Child Services 456 Athens Street, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
