Mr. Jimmy Alton Minish, age 69, of Maysville died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Minish was born in Commerce to the late, Fred Alton and Willie Helen Wilson Minish. Mr. Minish was a member of Galilee Holiness Church and retired from the US Army National Guard.
Mr. Minish is survived by his wife, Patsy Hunter Minish of Maysville; sons, Rodney Minish (Twana) of Lula, Greg Minish (Candida) of Homer, and BJ Minish (Kelli) of Maysville; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter; brothers, Benny Wilson of Danielsville, William Minish of Nicholson, and Terry Minish of Commerce; sister, Glenda Wood of Danielsville; a number of nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Howard and Polly Crane, Bonnie Parr, Shirley Whitlock, the late, Faye Bonner, Becky Chestnut, David and Debra Hunter, Eddie and Becky Hunter, Major and Pam Hunter.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 25th at 3:00 PM from Galilee Holiness Church with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Swayne Carlan officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 5-8 PM.
