Betty Waters Wofford

Funeral services are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday February 26, 2018 at Ward’s Funeral Home for Betty Waters Wofford age 87 of Gainesville. The Rev. Richard Long will officiate. Private interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wofford passed away Wednesday February 21, 2018.

Mrs. Wofford was born in Hall County to the late Clyde Waters and Lillie Wiley Waters. She was co-owner of Wofford TV & Appliance and
was a member of South Bend United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Wofford and son, Dr. David Terry Wofford.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Jan Wofford, Gainesville, granddaughter, Richelle Martinez, Gillsville, great
granddaughters, Daisy Martinez, Gillsville, Megan Martinez, Gillsville, very special friend, Betty Waldrop and a number of nieces,
nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to offer great appreciation to the staff and management of The Manor House of Gainesville and a special thanks to
the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Hospice and the 5th floor oncology nursing staff.
