Francis Tatum Park passed away peacefully on February 21, 2018.
She was born April 4, 1923 to the late Frank, Sr. and Laura Greenway Tatum, in Banks County. She was raised in Banks County but lived most of her adult life in Gainesville, GA.
Francis went to work at a young age in the cotton mills at New Holland and Chicopee Manufacturing where she worked for many years. She was of the Methodist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John T. Park and brothers, Robert Tatum, Herman Tatum, and Frank Tatum, Jr.
She is survived by her sons and their wives, Gary and Gale Park and Terry and Margie Park of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Stacy and Melissa Phillips, Brian and Allison Moore and Emily Park of Flowery Branch, Chris and Katie Scobel of Gainesville, Kenny Park of Portland, OR; great grandchildren, Hope and Hannah Phillips, Noah Park, Brianna, Jacob, Ella, and Hudson Moore of Flowery Branch; sisters, Sybil Hyde of Gainesville, Anne Lewellan of Buford; brothers and their wives, Herbert and Lou Tatum of Loganville, Jimmy and Gloria Tatum of Carlton, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Graveside service beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Stacy Phillips will officiate.

The family would like to thank the staff of Waterford of Oakwood for their kindness and care for the last few years and for Halcyon Hospice for the last few months.
