Tranis Gene Bryson, age 59 of Clermont, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
Mr. Bryson was born on February 17, 1959, in Towns County, to Elizabeth Dyer Bryson and the late John Joe Bryson. Tranis was a self-employed farmer and saw miller. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bryson was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Bryson; sister, Billie Earlleen Bryson.
Survivors include his wife, Lorrie Bryson, Clermont; mother, Elizabeth Dyer Bryson, Clermont; son, Trey Bryson, Clermont; daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Justin Palmer, Clermont, and Lauren and Peanut Smith, Clermont; grandchildren, Seth and Jessie Palmer, Blake Palmer, Jace and Sailor Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Patti Bryson, Lula; brother, Stanley Bryson, Clermont; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jackie Wilson, Lula; extended grandchildren, John, Eli, Cooper, Bella, Maggie, Charlie, Jae, Cody, and Carter.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage and the Rev. Ken Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Oliver Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
