She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Chapman; parents, John and Louisa Coffee; and sister, Margaret Smith. Her life was spent being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; which she cherished more than any earthly title or accolade.

She was a longtime member of Springway Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Gideons Auxiliary.  She faithfully read and relied on her Bible daily for guidance and strength.  Her life exemplified her faith.

She is survived by two sons; Bradley Chapman, Jerry Chapman and wife Diann; two granddaughters, Kimberly Godfrey and husband Lynn, Amy Green and husband Ben; four great grandchildren, Emmalyne and Isaac Godfrey, Trey and Thomas Green; and one sister, Barbara Canup, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

To abide by her wishes, services will be for family at graveside. The family request no flowers; however, if you wish to honor Mrs. Chapman, you may do so with a donation to the Gideons International or your favorite charity. If you are family or friend know that she loved you.
