Osa Pauline Beasley

Mrs. Osa Pauline Beasley, age 78, of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Kenneth Anderson will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, from 4-8 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Beasley was born on November 29th, 1939 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Benjamin Lee and Leona Butler Lee.  She was part of the first graduating class from North Hall High School in 1958. Mrs. Beasley worked for many years at New Holland Mills and Guilford Mills.  Osa is proceeded in death by her husband Billy Beasley and daughter Tammy S. Grindle.

Mrs. Beasley is survived by her granddaughter & son-in-law Bridgett and Andrew Smajd, one great-granddaughter Osa Smajd, sister Nora Frances Sullens, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Elouise Lee, sister-in-law's Ivalyn Key and Euline Couch and several nieces and nephews.
