Lawrence Dupree “Silver Fox” London age 80 of Murrayville passed away Friday Feb. 16, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. London was born May 12, 1937 in Cleveland to the late Hugh Jason & Jessie Naomi Smith London. He worked in construction, also at Georgia Chair and was a former grave digger at Memorial Park Cemetery. He was of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Ann London Free, grandson, Dylan Drew, brother, Abner London & sisters, Pauline Morrison, Willie Wilson, Reba Gibbs, Sally Greene & Vera Armour.
Survivors include, sons, David London of Murrayville, Nathan Perry of Lula, daughters, Anita London Drew of Flowery Branch, Debbie Lynn London of Lula, brother, Jerry Edward London of Gainesville, sister, Thelma Greene of Enterprise, Alabama. A number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces & nephews, to whom he was a father figure, also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday Feb. 20, 2018 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Rider & Rev. Misty Hicks officiating. Burial will be at 3 P.M. at Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleveland.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
